Born in Cuba, Peter Grant relocated to the United States as a young child at the age of 11 with his family. He arrived at Miami, Florida where he spent his youth and acquired an education. Early in his life, he was designated as the family photographer, a title which he earned because of his visible talent.
His love for art was slowly evolving and the need to capture life in film was obvious to all that knew him. As the years went by, and he entered adulthood, Peter decided to make his life's passion, "the art of photography" his official trade.

Peter Grant opened his first studio in the Miami Lakes area in 1984, and initiated his professional photographer career with zest. On a daily basis, his goal was to develop and master his inner talent, and as a Florida business entrepreneur, he decided to pursue the immense wedding and quince industry.
Peter was always a trend setter, learning new skills, attending photography seminars and continually keeping up with the industry's continual changes due to the use of modern technology.
His focus was to be different, to set himself apart from the rest; as the man behind the camera emerged and perfected his skill, digital imaging gave him a powerful tool; one that he mastered well, and now uses to create spectacular pictures that capture the vibrant emotions of his clients.

Peter Grant has become "the photographer of choice" for many of the community's special events, and is present for many Hispanic social functions.
He has managed to win the heart of many in South Florida with his personal attention to customer service and his gift for art. 
The magnificent city of Miami is the place he has grown to love, and the people he loves to work with. Today, he is an active member of the National Association of Wedding Professionals and the Professional Photographers Association of Florida.

Throughout the years, Peter Grant has won many followers, many Florida families have requested his services to captured the special moments in their lives. Loyalties are strong, since many of the quince events and wedding celebrations he has today are young ladies that he has photographed at their baptism and communion events, many years ago.
These families trusted him with a very important task... keeping their memories alive through his discerning camera lens. 

Peter Grant, also know as "The Image Maker, especially enjoys creating the quinceañera portraits which have made him "the coveted photographer for the Miami quince scene." 
His photography studio is like a revolving door, keeping him continuously in the loop of his clients' lives. Many of these young ladies come back and ask him to be their wedding photographer; keeping Photography by Peter Grant a family tradition.
